This is the best possible combination for round steak. The gravy and its delicate meat make a perfect match, especially for celebrations!

 

Directions

Season 2 round steaks with salt and black pepper and fry them in a pan with 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil until the meat is sealed. Depending on the cooking you prefer, you can put it in the oven for a few minutes until it is cooked to perfection. Set aside and let the meat rest so that it does not lose its juices.

The gravy is made with the juice and fat left in the pan. So let’s add 1/3 cup of white wine stirring with a spatula to remove the juices and fat from the bottom of the pan.

Cook over medium heat until the alcohol evaporates. Add 1/3 cup of water and cook until it boils.

Dissolve 1 tablespoon of cornstarch in 1/4 cup of cold water. Add the mixture to the pan and continuously stir until the sauce is thickened. Rectify the flavor with salt and pepper.

Sauté over round steaks with gravy and serve.

You can complement the meat with steamed potatoes and carrots.
