Directions

Place a garlic bulb on a sheet of aluminum foil. Bathe it with a spoonful of virgin olive oil. Make a bag with the foil where the garlic bulb is enclosed and place it in a baking tray at 350° for 35 minutes until the garlic cloves are soft.

In a pan, boil the spaghetti in salted water for 10-12 minutes, strain and leave it ready for the final cooking.

When the garlic bulb is ready, cut the top off, squeeze the garlic cloves in a pot with a tablespoon of virgin olive oil, pour in the spaghetti and stir to soak up the roasted garlic over low heat for a couple of minutes.

For the final touch, with the fire off, add 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and a tablespoon of chopped basil, and stir to mix with the pasta.
