Mozzarella, Tomato & Avocado Salad Recipe
On this occasion, with the mozzarella, tomato & avocado salad recipe, we will pay tribute to the famous Caprese salad, adding a tasty ingredient, the avocado, and with it, the colors of the Italian flag.
Cut the avocado in half. To get rid of the seed, whack it with a sharp knife and twist to take it off, and with the help of a spoon, scoop around the edges and pop it out to remove the peel. Then evenly slice both halves.
Wash and cut into slices 2 tomatoes and the mozzarella ball.
Prepare in a bowl a mixture of 3 tablespoons of virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon of balsamic oil, salt and pepper to taste, and stir.
Place the slices of tomato, mozzarella cheese, and avocado in strips on a tray and bathe them with the vinaigrette. Decorate with a sprig of basil and serve at the table.
