Garlic Butter Shrimp with Asparagus

It isn’t easy to improve such a delicious combination in a dish so quick and easy to cook. These garlic butter shrimp with asparagus are a gift from the gods to our senses.

 

Directions

Finely chop 3 cloves of garlic and fry them for a couple of minutes at medium-low heat with 1 tablespoon of virgin olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter.

Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, add them to the fire with the garlic and turn them over for a couple of minutes on each side, until they acquire their characteristic orange color. Turn off and leave them covered.

In another pan, add a spoonful of virgin olive oil and a spoonful of butter. Add the asparagus and salt and pepper to cook them at medium heat for about 7 minutes until they are tender.

When they are served on the plates, add some sesame seeds as decoration.

Open a bottle of white wine to celebrate!

1 lb of shrimp
1 bunch of asparagus
